Speaker of the National Assembly of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan today participated in the session of the Council of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO PA) via video call.
In his speech, the parliamentary speaker touched upon Azerbaijan’s ceasefire violations.
“The fight against the pandemic must become an opportunity for reconciliation of peoples, and I believe we all agree with this idea of the United Nations Secretary-General.
Nevertheless, in spite of the call of the United Nations Secretary-General and the global humanitarian crisis which we are all fighting against, these days, Azerbaijan continues to lead its policy of sabotage and opening fire at peaceful civilians.
Such actions are inadmissible, and I expect condemnation of those actions in order to maintain stability in the region,” Mirzoyan said.
