YEREVAN. – The Office of the Human Rights Defender (Ombudsman) of Armenia has been operating in an overloaded mode since early this morning. Ombudsman Arman Tatoyan on Tuesday evening wrote about this on his Facebook page. He added as follows, in particular:

1. Issues related to the professional work of journalists are under my direct attention.

2. I talked to [Greco-Roman] wrestler Roman Amoyan today, on my own initiative. We have initiated a separate proceeding on that issue.

3. And at the moment, a group of my staff is working at one of the police departments—according to the received report.
