YEREVAN. – The National Commission on Television and Radio (NCTR) does not have the capacity to conduct permanent monitoring of all TV companies operating in Armenia. NCTR Chairman Tigran Hakobyan said this during Wednesday’s National Assembly debates on the report on this commission's activities for 2019.

According to Hakobyan, they have neither the technical capabilities nor the personnel for such permanent monitoring.

But the chairman of the NCTR added that if, for example, viewers see propaganda of violence or extremely violent scenes on television, they, fulfilling their civic or moral duty, must appeal to them with the respective complaint.
