YEREVAN. – We have boycotted the sittings of the National Assembly, but that does not mean that our work will not take place outside the hall. Opposition Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP) MP Iveta Tonoyan mentioned this in a conversation with journalists in parliament on Wednesday.

"Since this is the last plenary session, we will do our best not to allow any failure in our parliamentary work. We will work on both legislative initiatives and other platforms. It’s just that, we have expressed our political disagreement with the parliament’s ratification of the illegal and empty petition yesterday.

The PAP will continue to work with the same efficiency and program it has set. An issue of changing the head of the [PAP] faction [in parliament] is not discussed. All political decisions will be made in the conditions of discussions, and consensus by the representatives of the political team," she stressed.
