YEREVAN. – Zhoghovurd daily of Armenia writes: Not only dairy products, drinks, canned food, but also agricultural products will become more expensive in Armenia. The reason is the increase in [natural] gas prices, which is expected as of July 19.

Such a decision was made yesterday by the Public Services Regulatory Commission, which was discussing the petition of Gazprom Armenia CJSC to review the tariffs of [Russian natural] gas being supplied to Armenia’s consumers.

Let us note that the change in [natural] gas prices will cause serious problems for Armenia; it will have a negative impact on businesses, result in price increase both in the field of cargo transportation and in industries where [natural] gas is used.
