YEREVAN. – It is very possible that next week also we will have a special sitting of the National Assembly; we will have questions to discuss. Alen Simonyan, National Assembly (NA) of Armenia Vice President and member of the majority My Step faction in parliament, stated this in a conversation with journalists after the faction’s meeting Saturday at the central office of the ruling Civil Contract Party.

"It is also possible there will be a bill on the Constitutional Court," he added.

Referring to the meeting of the My Step faction, Simonyan said: "The Prime Minister made a speech, then questions were asked, then speeches were made by the members of the faction, and at the end, the Prime Minister made a concluding speech. The current situation has been discussed. There is nothing new to say, what is said and discussed in public, we have proved many times that we are saying the same thing.

The domestic political issues of Armenia, the work of the faction, etc. were discussed with the faction.

I want to point out that one thing that when discussing something extraordinary, the public is constantly informed about it. You can consider this a regular meeting. All the issues were discussed at today's meeting—but not with the importance you assume."
