Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan posted the following on his Facebook page:

“Today Armenia received 500 oxygen concentrators that will be distributed to clinics and hospitals dealing with patients who have tested positive for COVID-19 or patients who are suspected of having COVID-19, providing them with the opportunity to improve medical aid for patients who are dependent on oxygen, hospitalize them more quickly and prevent complication of such patients’ health condition. The concentrators started being distributed at the airport.

Another 130 concentrators will be provided over the next few days, and this will actually provide the opportunity to meet all the demands of our country at this moment. We are also considering the opportunity to let patients use these devices at home.

The oxygen concentrators were obtained through funds from the state budget of Armenia.”
