Armenian ex-head of National Security Service Artur Vanetsyan has issued a statement noting that PM Nikol Pashinyan will do everything to keep his power.

"Nikol Pashinyan is committing a group crime, a serious crime - the usurpation of power and the overthrow of the constitutional system, involving at least 88 MPs," the statement said.

Vanetsyan has urged MPs to refrain from fulfilling the illegal orders of "an unbalanced person holding the post of Prime Minister of Armenia."

"Nikol Pashinyan encourages you to a criminal offense, the consequences of which, I assure you, will be very serious, first of all, for our state, and then for each of you personally. With your vote today, you will share criminal and political responsibility for the actions of Nikol Pashinyan," he added.
