YEREVAN. – Past daily of Armenia writes: There are already assessments by a number of international organizations regarding the pressure by Armenia’s authorities on the opposition, as well as the actions in connection with the Constitutional Court, which [the aforesaid assessments] the experts do not unequivocally assess.

Moreover, information is circulating that new, tougher assessments are possible in the near future by various power centers and international organizations.

In particular, referring to the Venice Commission and the Council of Europe, in a conversation with Past newspaper, political technologist Armen Badalyan noted: "It is not ruled out that there will be certain actions by them, the policy of blackmail is not excluded either; that is, they turn a blind eye to the process of embezzling the powers of the CC [Constitutional Court] in Armenia, instead, Armenia’s authorities, for example, ratify the Istanbul Convention. In general, everything is already possible, including political trade."
