With its recent actions, the Bright Armenia Party proved that it is the attaché of a person who has overthrown the constitutional order and usurped power, not an opposition faction in parliament. This is what leader of Homeland Party Artur Vanetsyan said in response to a question from Pastinfo.

Today the leader of Bright Armenia Party declared that the political party won’t join the petition of the Prosperous Armenia Party to apply to the Constitutional Court with regard to constitutionality of the constitutional amendments made by the authorities, even though the leader of Bright Armenia Party had stated that making amendments to the Constitution without the conclusion of the Constitutional Court is unconstitutional.

“After such developments, I don’t view the Bright Armenia parliamentary faction as an opposition party anymore. I view the Prosperous Armenia faction as the only opposition faction in parliament today,” Vanetsyan said.
