His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians today held a videoconference with leaders of the dioceses, patriarchal delegates and vicars of prelacies of the Armenian Church in Europe, as reported the news department of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin.
His Holiness brought his blessings and kind wishes to the clergymen representing Armenian ecclesiastical organizations in Europe and attached importance to the holding of such meetings on a regular basis.
During the meeting, the clergymen discussed several issues related to the Armenian communities of Europe, church life and the pontifical mission of clergymen in the current situation. The diocesan leaders provided information about the current situation, as well as the actions that the dioceses and pontifical delegations are taking to prevent the spread of the pandemic and overcome the consequences.
His Holiness provided information about the social, educational and healthcare programs that the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin is carrying out during the pandemic and expressed appreciation to the dioceses for supporting the Mother See’s social support programs with their donations.
