On June 25 at 2:03 p.m. (at 10:03 Greenwich time) the Seismic Protection Territorial Survey of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Armenia recorded a Magnitude 5.1 earthquake 55 km southeast from the city of Van in Turkey, with a 10 km deep hotbed, northern latitude (38.35o) and eastern longitude (43.98o). The force of the underground shock in the epicenter zone was 7 points.

According to preliminary information, there are no victims, and there is no destruction. The earthquake was also felt in Yerevan.
