In 2018, over 214 thousand people took part in local government elections, chair of Central Electoral Commission of Armenia Tigran Mukuchyan said on Thursday at the parliament.
The elections were held in 88 communities and a total of 387 polling stations have been formed, he added.
According Mukuchyan, 916 candidates took part in the elections, and not a single application for the nomination was refused.
