Two police officers have been injured in riots between Turks and Kurds in Vienna, TASS reported referring to the Vienna's police.

The conflict has taken place in Vienna on Wednesday during a peaceful Kurdish demonstration for women's rights.

According to the police, nearly 300 people took part in the Thursday's demonstration. 

The rally attracted the attention of Turkish youth, who in turn began to demonstrate the ultra-nationalist gestures of the Gray Wolves group. Several people were apprehended as a result of the clashes.

The clashes were condemned by the Austrian Interior Ministry and representatives of the Turkish diaspora.
