Armenia's health minister Arsen Torosyan took to his Facebook to once again urge citizens to stay home as 'there is no other way' to overcome COVID-19 pandemic.

"We need a conscious lockdown instead of a forced one. We all must limit our non-vital contacts, movements, visits, events, meetings," he noted urging people to stop celebrations, to limit the presence of people at mourning ceremonies as much as possible, and stay home during weekends.

"Do not visit your relatives if there is no urgent need for this," he added.

"Stop visiting cafes and restaurants," Torosyan noted.

According to the minster, in all other cases, it is necessary to wear masks, maintain a social distancing, and wash hands.

"There is no other way out of this situation," Torosyan said.
