Egyptian authorities will gradually reopen museums and archaeological sites for tourists, Egyptian tourism minister Khaled al-Anany told RIA Novosti.

According to him, last week they already reopened the museums of Hurghada and Sharm el-Sheikh and now Egypt is opening archaeological sites.

Earlier, the country's authorities announced the gradual resumption of international flights from July 1.

Only three resort provinces will reopen to foreign tourists: Red Sea Governorate, South Sinai Governorate, and Matrouh Governorate.
