One of the new patients infected with COVID-19 in Georgia is an Armenian citizen who was in the quarantine zone, said Marina Endeladze, head of the intensive care unit (ICU) at Tbilisi Infectious Diseases Hospital, Sputnik Georgia reported.

According to her, 24 coronavirus patients are currently receiving treatment at the ICU.

"The overall condition of the patients is moderate and mild. We don't have any patients in severe condition at the moment. During the past 24 hours, two [new] patients arrived, both of whom were transferred from quarantine zones, one of whom is a Georgian citizen, and the other—a citizen of the Republic of Armenia. Now they are being examined," Endeladze told reporters.
