President of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) Arayik Haroutyunyan today received Permanent Representative of the Republic of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh Republic) in the Middle East Countries Karo Kababjian.
The head of state stated that Artsakh is closely following the developments linked to the dire social-economic situation caused as a result of the coronavirus pandemic in Lebanon and is concerned about the Armenians of Lebanon. According to Haroutyunyan, even though Artsakh also faces economic issues, the Government of Artsakh is considering the amount of support that it can provide to the Lebanese-Armenians with its scarce resources.
Kababjian expressed gratitude to Haroutyunyan for the cordial reception and the support and emphasized that this actually serves as evidence of the fact that the homeland is the most reliable venue for all Armenians around the world.
Minister of Foreign Affairs Masis Mayilian and Advisor to the President of Artsakh for Diaspora Affairs Azatuhi Simonyan were also attending the meeting.
