The Prosecutor General’s Office of Armenia has appealed the decision on dismissing the proceedings of the criminal case regarding Judge Davit Grigoryan of the Court of General Jurisdiction of Yerevan and Court secretary Gor Vardanyan, as reported Head of the Public Relations Department of the Prosecutor General’s Office Arevik Khachatryan.

Davit Grigoryan was charged under elements of official fraud, and Court secretary Gor Vardanyan was charged with assistance in fraud. On June 5, Judge Davit Balayan decided to discontinue criminal prosecution against Grigoryan and Vardanyan and dismiss case proceedings on the ground of absence of corpus delicti.
