The National Assembly of Armenia is holding a special session to consider implementation of the amendments to the Law on the Constitutional Court.

This morning, the amendments to the Law on the Constitutional Court, as well as the bills on making an amendment to the Law on Ensuring of Activities, Servicing and Social Guarantees of Officials were introduced by deputies of the My Step faction of the National Assembly Vahagn Hovakimyan and Suren Grigoryan and adopted in the first reading. With these amendments, the Law on the Constitutional Court is brought into compliance with the constitutional amendments made by the National Assembly on June 22.

In addition, today the National Assembly adopted the draft decision on repealing the February 6, 2020 decision on putting the draft constitutional amendments to a referendum.
