YEREVAN. – The Prosecutor General's Office of Armenia has filed an appeal against the Criminal Court of Appeal decision on the precautionary measure of second president Robert Kocharyan, and this appeal has already been submitted to the Court of Cassation. Gor Abrahamyan, Adviser to the Prosecutor General, informed Armenian News-NEWS.am about it.
To note, on June 18, the Criminal Court of Appeal granted the motion of Kocharyan's attorneys, and released the second president on bail of 2 billion drams—more than US$4 million.
