The UK government should introduce new measures to examine the dominance of Google and Facebook in digital advertising, Reuters reported referring to the UK's Competition and Markets authority (CMA) comes.

According to the regulator, while the services provided by the US companies were "highly valued", it cautioned against their "unassailable market positions that rivals can no longer compete on equal terms."
