Within the scope of the defense cooperation between the Republic of Armenia and the United Kingdom, the Embassy of UK in Armenia provided domestic personal protective equipment to the Ministry of Defense during an event held today and attended by British Chargé d’Affaires ad interim in Yerevan, Ambassador David Moran and Head of the Military-Medical Department of the Armed Forces of Armenia, Colonel Sahak Ohanyan.

The support was provided in order to assist in the prevention of the spread of the coronavirus pandemic in the armed forces.

Ambassador Moran welcomed Armenia’s participation in the global efforts to prevent the spread of the coronavirus pandemic and voiced hope that the Embassy of UK in Armenia is able to make its contribution to the reduction of the risk of the pandemic's spread through such measures.
