Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) President Arayik Haroutyunyan on Thursday presented live the provisions of his 2020-2025 program, which was published on June 29.

"We have to increase the degree of our combat-readiness every day, and in 1-2 years, we will make significant progress in that direction. (...). Everything is conditioned by economic growth and indicators. At the time, I think in 2011-2012, I stated that the minimum economic growth rate should be 8 percent; we have planned that for the next five years. I want to assure that it will be over fulfilled. We may have double-digit economic growth already in 2021. I have mentioned 5,000 jobs a year in the program, but there will be much more,” the Artsakh President said, above all.

He assured that salaries and pensions in Artsakh will continue to grow—and every year. "We have long ago resolved the matter of food security," Haroutyunyan added, in particular.

According to him, housing construction will also be one of their important programs. "It will be combined with social programs," he noted, as well.

The President of Artsakh also spoke about education and the provision of free higher education. "Believe that it will be good," Arayik Haroutyunyan concluded.
