The US has recorded 50,655 COVID-19 new cases, while 645 more people have died, Johns Hopkins University reported.
According to the university, the US has confirmed a total of 2,686,587 COVID-19 cases. The death toll has exceeded 128 thousand. Almost 730 thousand people have recovered.
Over 10.7 million COVID-19 cases have been reported globally with over 516 thousand deaths.
