Greece has banned entry of Serbian tourists into the country due to the sharp rise in the number of COVID-19 cases, AP reports. The government’s spokesperson said the ban will enter into force on July 6 and will last until July 15, with possible extension.

The Greek government has also reported nine new coronavirus cases and no deaths over the past 24 hours. Out of the nine cases, seven are linked to tourists who were checked as soon as they had arrived in the country.

Greece has a total of 3,519 coronavirus cases, and 192 of the patients have died.
