Armenian President Armen Sarkissian on Monday had a telephone conversation with the First President of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev, and congratulated him on his 80th birthday.

Sarkissian lauded Nazarbayev's great contribution to political, economic, and humanitarian cooperation between Armenia and Kazakhstan.

Also, President Sarkissian expressed confidence that the friendly relations between Armenia and Kazakhstan will continue to develop.
