Demining in Nagorno-Karabakh helps prepare the population for peace in this fragile region by providing Armenia, Nagorno-Karabakh, and Azerbaijan with a foundation on which confidence can be built. This was announced by Congressman Jim Himes, speaking at the United States House of Representatives Committee on Appropriations this week, ahead of the introduction of the bill on the US foreign aid in Fiscal Year 2021, reported the Armenian National Committee of America.
The respective vote in the aforesaid committee is slated for Thursday.
