It seems there are a lot of people in Armenia who take advantage of the COVID-19 situation, Iravunk newspaper reported.

The employees of the Alex Textile sewing factory owned by businessman and ex-MP Samvel Aleksanyan have quitted voluntarily, but continue their work.

According to one of the employees, two months ago the management said Russian partners supposedly refused to cooperate with them, and thus the employees should quit since June 5, as there are no new orders, the newspaper noted refuting it: "The are so many orders that employees work overtime."

"But the authorities are not interested in why Samvel Aleksanyan chose this policy and why he allegedly does not pay taxes," the newspaper added.
