YEREVAN. – At Thursday’s Cabinet meeting, the government approved the draft amendments to the law on the state of emergency in Armenia.

The matter was presented by the minister of health, Arsen Torosyan. He said, in particular, that this package stipulates that during a state of emergency in the country, the authority to administer over medical care and service organizations shall pass to the authorized state body in the field of health care in Armenia—that is, to the Ministry of Health.

The minister added that avoiding such regulations shall cause administrative liability in the amount of 300-500 thousand drams.

"The demand for mandatory staffing is important here," Torosyan added, above all.
