The Ministry of Defense (MOD) of Azerbaijan has issued an official statement, according to which the Azerbaijani army has suffered two casualties and five wounded from "shooting from the Armenian side" in the direction of Tovuz.

With the same statement, the Azerbaijani side claims that "the Armenian side has casualties, too."

But the MOD of Armenia had earlier denied that there were casualties from the Armenian side.

As reported earlier, the Azerbaijani army on Sunday made two unsuccessful attempts to violate the state border of Armenia and seize a border position of the Armenian Armed Forces.
