Ex-US vice president Joe Biden - having secured enough support from delegates for the upcoming Democratic Party Congress to run for the presidency in November - wins primaries in Puerto Rico, TASS reported referring to The New York Times.

According to the newspaper, he is supported by 67.8% of the voters. 

The 59th US presidential election is scheduled for November 3.
