All the current restrictions set during the state of emergency declared for the fight against the spread of COVID-19 in Armenia will be lifted only when new cases aren’t reported in the course of next few weeks. This is what Deputy Prime Minister of Armenia, Commandant for the state of emergency Tigran Avinyan declared in response to deputies’ questions during a special session of the National Assembly of Armenia.

However, according to him, restrictions will be mitigated in several sectors parallel to the decline of the epidemic.

Today the state of emergency, which has been declared in Armenia since March, was extended by the government for another month (until August 12, 2020).
