Armenia ex-president Robert Kocharyan's trial resumed Tuesday in Yerevan.

During the last meeting, the court rejected the motion of the prosecutors to deprive the defense of the submission of new motions at this stage. The prosecution motivated its claim by 'delaying the process.'

The defense insisted on the unlawfulness of such a claim, which would actually mean depriving the lawyers of their right to vote.

As a result, two meetings were used for consideration of the petition of the prosecutor's office.
