Turkey has sent over 1,000 militants to fight against General Khalifa Haftar’s troops in support of the Libyan government, reports Al Arabiya, citing unknown sources.

Over the past few days, Turkey has sent 1,400 Tunisian militants to Libya who are linked to extremist organizations from Syria’s Aleppo and Idlib, Al Arabiya reports.

On Monday, two Turkish planes arrived in the Libyan city of Misrata with 500 hirelings from Syria, Tunisia, Egypt and Sudan.

In November, President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan had signed a military agreement with the Libyan government allowing Turkey to deploy troops in Libya, and since then, Turkey has been sending Syrian hirelings to the country at war.
