Amnesty International has issued a report on state of the world’s human rights.

The report concerning each state includes violations of human rights in five categories: deaths in custody, impunity, freedom of expression, violence against women and girls, prisoners of conscience.

The report on Armenia mentions perpetrators of human rights violations continued to enjoy impunity. It mentions protection for women and girls still failed to meet international standards, bringing an example of Zaruhi Petrosian, a victim of ongoing domestic violence.

It says no genuine civilian alternative to military service was introduced in Armenia as well.
