The requirement for wearing face masks in open spaces is already a crime because citizens damage their health. Many experts confirm this, and Armenia needs to listen to those experts. This is what leader of the Democratic Party of Armenia Aram Sargsyan told reporters today.

Sargsyan stated that people need to have the chance to breathe clean air in order to receive the oxygen that the body needs, especially during the hot summer. As far as the activities of the Commandant’s Office and all the overseeing departments are concerned, I can only say that face masks, better yet, wearing face masks have become something like a lifesaver,” Sargsyan said.

The member of the political opposition is certain that the merciful situation regarding the spread of the virus is due to the government’s mistakes and wrong calculations and the wrong policy of the country’s leadership. In regard to this, the political party leader recommended that the Commandant’s Office at least lift the requirement for wearing face masks in open spaces.
