Deputy Prime Minister of Armenia Mher Grigoryan today chaired the regular session of the inter-agency commission coordinating the actions ensuring implementation of the EU-Armenia Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement and the EU-Armenia Partnership Priorities Document.

During the session, the members of the inter-agency commission resumed the discussions of the previous sessions concerning the actions for the transport sector prescribed for the year 2020. A report on the course of implementation of the actions envisaged within the same time limit for the environmental sector was also on the agenda.

Out of the actions being implemented in the environmental sector, the participants of the session discussed the course of development of the bill on making an amendment to the Law of Armenia on Environmental Impact Assessment and Expert Examination, as well as the changes to be made in the EIAE sector after adoption of the law.

During the discussion on the actions in the transport sector, the participants touched upon the implementation of amendments to the legislation regulating the sector of interstate transportation, as a result of which the Armenian legislation will be brought into compliance with the requirements of international legislation.
