The Open Society Foundations–Armenia has allocated over $ 600,000 to fight COVID-19 in Armenia, fund's press service reported.

About $ 50,000 was allocated for the purchase of PCR tests, personal protective equipment, and equipment for medical personnel.

Besides, 13 computers and 10 thousand medical masks were handed over to medical centers of penitentiary institutions.

Over 5,000 citizens received social aid. The aid was also allocated to 120 Syrian Armenians, as well as the Yezidi community of Armenia.

250 low-income families with newborn children in the Tavush region received the assistance of 50 thousand dollars.
