Commandant for the state of emergency in Armenia Tigran Avinyan posted the following on his Faceboko page:

“Oversight over observance of the rules is important to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus, and inspection bodies play a major role in this.

To date, inspection bodies have conducted 54,013 inspections within the framework of the anti-epidemic measures. In the same period, inspection bodies have made decisions to suspend the operation of 4,669 companies due to violations of the prescribed norms.

Inspections are conducted every day, including at night, depending on the business. All the inspected are provided with consulting and instructions to eliminate the violations immediately.

Within the scope of the efforts, there are fewer violations and fewer decisions on suspension. For instance, whereas 1,339 violations (19.6%) were recorded after 6,842 inspections conducted during the first ten days of June, 377 violations (5%) were recorded after 7,491 inspections conducted in the same period in July.”
