Following the US, the EU also plans to appoint its officials in Armenia to coordinate reforms, Hraparak daily reported.

"The scandalous initiative of the US State Department to announce a competition for the position of an adviser on corruption in the Armenian Government is not the last such initiative within the foreign influence on the system of government in the country. The European Union also plans to appoint four high-ranking officials in Armenia to coordinate ongoing reforms in the country.

The agreement between the EU and Armenia provides such an opportunity, but the problem is that the European side, taking advantage of the favorable situation in Armenia, insists that the mandate of these officials be as comprehensive and liberal as possible, and in some cases with the strengthening of management functions. In addition, the Europeans insist that these advisers sit in the government building. The Cabinet of Ministers seems to be ready to give its consent," the newspaper noted.
