Representatives of the Embassy of Russia in Armenia have self-isolated and aren’t attentive towards citizens of Russia. This is what Russia-based human rights activist Davit Harutyunyan said during a demonstration held in front of the Embassy of Russia in Armenia today, adding that the Embassy doesn’t want to help people who are in a difficult situation.

Harutyunyan said there are no meetings, and there are rarely responses to citizens’ e-mails. He also called on the Embassy of Russia to provide citizens with the opportunity to leave for Russia in their cars, escorted by the police in Georgia, and not in buses in which there is a high risk of contraction of the coronavirus.

The security officers of the Embassy of Russia told the demonstrators that the Embassy is temporarily closed due to quarantine, and the demonstrators weren’t able to transmit their letter to the employees of the Embassy since none of them came out of the building.
