The US ambassador to Baku has blamed the Armenians for the Armenian-Azerbaijani clash in Los Angeles. Political scientist Suren Sargsyan wrote about this on his Facebook page.
"He [the ambassador] accused the Armenians of provocation, apologizing to the Azerbaijani authorities for what happened.
The fact that the US ambassador blames the citizens of his own country is at least surprising, and I am sure that our compatriots—the citizens of his own country—will respond to the ambassador.
Moreover, if the ambassador does not deny or regret the wrong assessment (the embassy has not denied it yet), then I also expect a statement of Armenia’s MFA’s for this biased assessment. (…) the [aforesaid] incident [in Los Angeles] is under investigation by law enforcement," Sargsyan added, in particular.
