Republic of Armenia’s (RA) Ambassador to Germany Ashot Smbatyan issued a statement urging the German-Armenian community not to participate in protests and not to give in to provocations.

"The military actions provoked by Azerbaijan in the northeastern part of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border in recent days have received a reaction in many countries around the world, including Germany. Cases of violence toward, damage to property or destruction of property belonging to RA embassies, members of Armenian communities are reported.

The official car of the RA embassy in Germany was set on fire.

(…) please be extremely vigilant and do not give in to any provocation.

I ask and urge you all not to take part in any initiative or protest unauthorized by the German authorities, which could contribute to the escalation of the existing tension, which is the goal pursued by the provocateurs," Ambassador Smbatyan’s statement reads, in particular.
