China and the European Union intend to speed up talks to conclude an investment agreement between China and the EU by the end of this year, Reuters reported referring to the Vice Premier of China Liu He.
According to him, China and the EU will also continue to strengthen macroeconomic policy adjustments and implement effective fiscal and monetary policies to accelerate global economic recovery.
In the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic, China and the EU will work on virus prevention, vaccine development, and specialist exchange through further bilateral cooperation. He also noted that China and the EU will expand agricultural trade.
