Compared to early July, the situation with coronavirus in Armenia has improved significantly, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan told a briefing.

"Based on the data for the last 4-5 days, we can say that the number of new daily cases of coronavirus infection has returned to the level of the end of May," he noted.

The PM said it is obvious that the stage of overcoming the coronavirus has begun in Armenia. 

“It is also obvious that this improvement is directly related to anti-epidemiological measures, the cornerstone of which is the mandatory wearing of masks in open and closed areas," he added.
