The US government has allocated $ 20.5 billion to tackle the coronavirus pandemic, including vaccine and drug development, preparedness efforts, and foreign aid. 

As noted in the State Department, the United States is achieving real results by helping countries around the world to fight COVID-19 and thereby protecting the homeland, Voice of America reported.

Over $ 2.7 million has been allocated to Armenia, which has received more than $ 1.57 billion from the US over the past 20 years, including $ 106 million for healthcare needs.

By the way, nearly $ 3.6 million has been allocated to help Azerbaijan, including $ 565,000 in humanitarian aid for vulnerable groups of the population. The total amount of aid to Azerbaijan over the past 20 years amounted to $ 894 million, including $ 4 million in the health sector.

About $ 2.7 million has been allocated to Georgia.
