YEREVAN. – Hraparak daily of Armenia writes: The working group of the [opposition] PAP, ARF, and Homeland Parties was discussing the issue of applying to the administrative court with a request to lift the [current] restriction on freedom of assembly.

Weeks ago, they had submitted a draft to the NA [National Assembly] on the same issue, but it was rejected.

The trio has decided not to go to court at this stage. "We will inform about further developments," said Arsen Babayan, a member of the Homeland Party board.

According to our information, the trio hopes that the [current] state of emergency [in the country] will not be extended after August 13, so they consider it pointless to go to court. If these predictions are wrong, they will reconsider the decision.
