The UK PM Boris Johnson instructed officials to develop a plan to avoid COVID-19 second wave, The Sunday Telegraph reported.

Elderly and at-risk people may be asked to stay at home again as part of this drastic plan to prevent a second wave of infections.

The agency notes that Johnson asked officials to prepare a list of measures designed to prevent the re-suspension of economic activity.

According to The Guardian, there is also talk of a proposal to provide people at risk with exclusive access to shops and some services.
