Germany decided to step up the fight against Holocaust denial. Deutsche Welle reported referring to the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA), of which Germany recently became a member.

IHRA is committed to combating Holocaust denial and anti-Semitism globally. Berlin will now join the alliance and focus on fighting lies, misrepresentation, and trivialization of the Holocaust. For this, the country has already created a group of experts who will develop a strategy of a struggle for Germany and other states, Lenta.ru reported.

Experts cite rallies and demonstrations that took place during the COVID-19 pandemic as an example of Holocaust denial.
